Pretty good winch. The screw that holds the end of the cable on broke so I ordered a winch rope.
if you pull at any angle at all the fairlead is made of garbage steel and plastic bushings so it scars the rollers ...

would work well as a winch on a trailer to load with but on a atv or buggy or something it is junk. if you pull at any angle at all the fairlead is made of garbage steel and plastic bushings so it scars the rollers real bad and just collapses the bushings then the scaring on the roller frays the cable then cable breaks. used it twice and now im looking for a new one.
A lot of winches I looked at for around the same price were non solenoid like the traveller winches at tractor supply

I looked at a lot of winches both online and in store before I purchased. I installed mine on a 2014 arctic cat prowler hdx 500. The kit has absolutely everything to install it and it even includes a solenoid activated setup. A lot of winches I looked at for around the same price were non solenoid like the traveller winches at tractor supply. Very happy with the quality and the price
