Great Pet Carrier for Safely Transporting Small Pets in the Car
K Hill✓ Verified Purchase•March 2, 2018
I really like how secure this keeps a small pet contained while traveling in a car! I liked it so much that I purchased a 2nd one. My only warning to to order the Pet Carrier & the Isofix Latch separately. I tried to order the Jet Set Pet Carrier w/ Isofix Latch on one order. They only send the Isofix Latch, I noticed the stick on label on the box said it was the carrier with the Latch. Other people reported that same problem. You can avoid that by ordering them separately. I just have to push 2 orange buttons to unlatch it from the rear seat of my car.
Great carrier!

This carrier worked great for us and the seller promptly answered all my questions when I asked on Amazon. I have a 13lb schnauzer/yorkie mix (I think he is about 16" long). He fit great, plenty of room to turn around. I bought the large to make sure it was roomy enough and it fit under the middle seat on American Airlines. No one questioned the size. I loved that it could squish under the seat but he still had room to move. It did take up the whole under seat area. We had him below our 3 year old.
I got this because it said it was scratch resistant. My dog scratched at it multiple times and it did not show wear. I did put him in it before the trip so he could get used to it and I'm glad I did as I learned a couple things. 1) close both zippers at the top. My dog was able to get it open by scratching if the zippers were closer to the bottom, but we had no problems with them on top. 2) if you have a runner, use the inside leash. Luckily we were at home when we learned he could escape. We used the leash though and it definitely slowed him down. We had no problems in the airport or on the flight.
Cons: no outside pocket. Would have been nice. But it definitely was breathable which was greatly appreciated in Phoenix at the end of May, so the lack of pocket wasn't a deal breaker. Also I would have liked a strap specifically to put on luggage to make it easier to carry everything. There are straps you can wrap around the luggage handle, but he stood up once and moved and the carrier fell off. If they stay laying down, it was fine. Or just carry on your shoulder.
Overall great carrier and I definitely recommend it!

Poor quality control
Pat✓ Verified Purchase•July 28, 2017
Seams on top become exposed and stretched out when the metal bars are put in place. The threads are exposed to more wear and snagging on things. Very disappointed with the quality control of this brand. The Isofix harness, sold separately and required for the positive crash test result, had loose rivets. Just delivered today brand new in factory box. Seller was Dog Creek.
Love this for my pooch!

I have been sold on Petego the moment I got my first shipment last year. One of My puppy Maltese outgrew the small so I had to upgrade to the medium with no hesitation. This was an excellent price. I spent so much more on my first 2 so I had to make a quick decision and purchase it right away. Wonderful to travel with because you can wear it like a backpack. It's airline approved, It has a washable waterproof pad and a buckle inside that you can secure to the harness to keep your pooch safe. There are no better carriers out on the market that can beat Petego. Trust me you will not be dissappointed with this purchase.!
Large too small for my 17lb terrier, and other issues
Hernan Emilio Rebagliati✓ Verified Purchase•May 17, 2017
I bought this carrier hoping to use it in my car along with the ISOFIX adapter to transport my 17 pound Norwich terrier in my car safely, but had to return it. I got the large, which is advertised as holding up to 22 pound dogs on the pet ego website. However, when I tried to put my dog in it, I realized the problem: the base of the bag is big enough, but because it tapers inward it is quite a bit smaller on the top (its sleek design is its downfall). So poor Oscar's snout and butt were pressed against the mesh on either end when he was standing up.
It's well constructed, but has a few flaws: 1) it is very dark inside (all black, with small dark mesh windows), compared to my two Sherpa bags. I have a standard Sherpa and an Ultimate. Also, the roll-up window covers on the sides partially obscure the already-small windows when rolled up. 2) there's quite a tall lip blocking the dog from simply walking in (Oscar wanted nothing to do with it, though he walks into the Sherpas fine). 3) there's no easy way to partially open the bag without risking an escape. Once you start undoing the zipper even a little, the dog can push it open easily. My Sherpa bags can both be opened from the top, which is a great way to check in on the dog during travel, and to give treats for example. Another bonus with top opening is that you can plop the dog in from above rather than having to coax it to walk in (sometimes they just don't want to). 4) due to the tapered design, this bag is too small unless your dog is tiny, and even if you have a tiny dog i think there are better-designed options. This is unnecessarily bulky for a tiny dog, and not big enough for a small dog.
