The pointed end and chisel end is a great combination. It has been a great tool
Snickelfritz•June 25, 2017
I have had this almost year now using it to lever out concrete around fence posts, to enlarge fence post holes in my hard rocky ground, and chip out limestone rock in a sewer trench. The pointed end and chisel end is a great combination. It has been a great tool. Now, I am using it on limestone in Florida not on granite back in Minnesota. I could use it pry out rocks of any kind that the power auger stalls out on, but I wouldn't try breaking up granite or traprock. After I crack the concretd wit my jackhammer this tool is great. You are not suspose to use the jackhammer as a pry bar.
Great for chipping ice off of the driveway!
NormalEveryDayGuy•February 23, 2016
This bar is very heavy after hours of use. I bought it to scrape ice off of my driveway in the winter and so far nothing comes close. The first day that I had it, I chiseled 4 inched of sheet ice off the driveway with ease. Now my car can make it up the driveway without sliding backwards. it is solid material, one piece and does not have a comfort grip or anything of the sort. It looks like a giant spear with a putty knife on one end. I cannot speak for its durability under heavy load as I am sure that is what most people use these for. But the quality is high and it has served its purpose for me. I am a very satisfied customer.
Usual Garbage from Ludell

Digging bars are a great tool. I use them all the time, but these India made digging bars from Ludell bend pretty easily. But for $18 I paid in 2014 I can't complain too much. I just use them for digging. NO PRYING, unless you're trying to bend it for a reason. They're just not that strong for a big man. I have Ludell pick and cutter mattocks and they don't hold a candle to the nice handled Mintcraft and Truper products made in Mexico. I will never buy another India made Ludell product as long as they make junk steel.

Super heavy duty
it bent, really!

if you can believe it using it as a pry bar I was able to put a slight bend in it it does kind of make me wonder what it's actually made from but a steel bar or an iron bar of that thickness I should be able to pick up the back end of a car without it bending I was able to bend it back to straight and that's kind of scary too might have to rethink my rating
