I'm never disappointed when I order from Hirt's.

The plants came almost a week sooner than estimated and in great condition (for travelling across the country in a box).

There was some minor (and I mean minor) damage; a few broken stems, a few detached leaves, a bit crumpled. But if you came up to me the next day and asked me to point at the damage on the plant I would be unable to find it.

The plants were much larger and bushier than I expected. They look wonderful. In the attached photo you can see them compared to the size of my hand. The other photo shows a bunch of other plants. Everything there is from Hirt's Gardens (besides the ones in the wooden planters).

Arrived today, looks good, plant is moist, leaves are supple, and its freaking huge. My wife completely freaked out when we took it out of the box, she loves it. A few stems were broken, but thats not unusual for shipping a plant with fragile stems. I just trimmed them and put them in jars of water in the kitchen window to root. For the size, and quality of this plant, I will definitely be ordering from this company again.

I've received the Purple Wandering Jew in a really bad condition. The plant was poorly packed, and many branches were damaged and broken. I've put some of them in water, but it doesn't look like they will survive. The rest of the plant looks sick to me: all the leaves are folded and turned down. Nothing close to the picture. Very disappointed.

UPDATE:
After my complain the JMBamboo customer service was nice enough to send me another plant. Unfortunately, with the same sad result. Due to the terrible package the plant came to me in more than 10 separate pieces "“ you can see it on the picture. There are a lot of rotten leaves and branches, so overall plant condition is really bad.

I am a hardcore plant lover and decided to give this sweetie a try. Contrary to some of the reviews, my ordering experience was stellar. Plant was reasonably priced and shipped almost immediately. It came after like 2-3 days and I found the packaging fairly secure. I opened it to find very little soil loss and the plant was moist; not soggy. I only lost a tiny piece of plant as pictured. It was more than enough plant to break off into two. Pictured is part of it on my breakfast nook. I look forward to see how she will thrive. I'll base it's health on possible future purchases. So far, good!!! *green thumbs up!!*

Very happy with my new plant. Though she obviously was traumatized a bit from her travels, a little TLC and she should bounce back in a few days. She is not as full looking as the photo implies. But I already knew that it would not be a good idea to ship one that full so I wasn't expecting it to be like the photo. Overall I recommend this nursery. They shipped her as well as one can ship a plant. I tried to attach a photo because she is quite pretty, but I couldn't get it to work. Maybe I can try again later.
