Excellent Design, almost twice as loud as the manufacturer claims

This spray booth is an excellent design, it is super light weight and compact when folded. Like others have mentioned, if you happen to paint too close to the edges, paint might leak out onto whatever surfaces you are near, so I used some blue painters tape to seal the edges and had no problems. Why four stars not five? The sound rating is almost double when measured (my Apple Watch clocked it at 70dB SPL and my professional SPL meter has it registering at 74 dB SPL, A weighted). This is close to the recommended threshold for hearing damage (80dB SPL) for prolonged exposure. It is not quite at the level where you should be wearing earplugs to operate, but close. I would have given it 3 starts but to be honest, if they were to make it quieter and truly around 45 dB SPL like they claim, this thing would need to have a more expensive motor/fan, so being that it's just under $100 and just under the dangerous hearing levels range, it's a fair rating for an otherwise awesome little spray booth!

This is a great item to get if you are painting inside. The booth area is quite large and it works quite well keeping overspray and the smell of paint away from you and others in your house. The noise it makes is not bad but noticeable when it's on in my room, but does not disturbed those outside my hobby room. For the price this is a great item to get, as I'm into building models and end up doing a lot of painting. This is very portable as it's easy to set up and take down in seconds, but I keep in same place so that is not a feature I need or use. I can't find any faults with it so it gets 5 stars for doing what it says it does.

Very good product especially for the price. Works great. I did order the extension hose for the back to exhaust any fumes out my studio window. There were supposed to be four holes drilled in the hose adapter for the attachment screws as shown in the instructions. NO Holes! I had to use the fan guard attachment (which you remove to add the exhaust hose) points to locate the four hole positions and drill them out. Scary! Two screws are loose as there seems to be nothing for them to bite into to hold them to the back of the motor box. Also, the extension greatly increases the depth of the unit.

The airbrush booth works well and is easy to set up. The turn table isn't too great with heavier things like cakes, but it's decent enough. The noise isba little louder than expectes but it does it's job. I love you can just fold it back up and tuck it away when not in use.
