These were fine. Very expensive for literally three lemons, especially since they're "natural" and not "organic." I found out how easy it is to make your own preserved lemons: You need lemons, salt, and a jar with a lid. That's it. No cooking, no canning. I'd buy these again if I needed preserved lemons right away, as you have to let the homemade variety sit for almost a month before you can use them. I live in an area where jarred preserved lemons are difficult to come by, so these were quite welcome (before I made my own).

I usually make my own preserved lemons, so I don't really have anything to compare these to aside from my own very basic recipe, but I felt like these had too much flavor besides that of lemon for my personal taste and I prefer to make my own.

These are excellent, very authentic.

I have purchased this before at a specialty shop that is not very close to home. I have a Chicken Tajine recipe that has this as one of the ingredients. The recipe is not the same without it. The price was reasonable and I can just have it delivered to my house without having to travel far to get it!

I love these. I know I should stop being lazy and make my own preserved lemons, but these are so good, and like all of Les Moulins Mahjoub products, they are actually organic, not just natural. They're great in classical preparations like tagines, etc., but also wonderful to bring extra zip to grilled fish, chicken and vegetables, salad dressing, sauces, and probably lots of other uses as well.
