Choose a size based on the measurement for the widest part of your hips (down low, just above the crotch) for the best fit. My pant size is 32" but the widest part of my hips are 36." I ordered the size based on 36" and it worked perfectly. The slightly dirty and abraded looking flag went over very well. Got a lot of favorable comments at the 4th. of July pool party I attended. They are to expensive at around $60.00 when I ordered them, but they look and fit great and they are a good quality product.

Ok, so I really love this suit and get compliments every time I wear it. However, based on the suggestions of other reviewers I purchased a Medium when I usually wear a small, and I wish I had purchased the large. Even the medium is a little too snug. I find I can only wear them for a couple hours before I start feeling really uncomfortable.
