The Best Pooper Scooper Ever!

I tend not to write many reviews due to time factors but this scoop was so impressive I had to share. I have had cats all my life and have tried many different scoops to pick up cat litter. This scoop is sturdy, it's the right size , and it works so well. It picks up the clumped litter and the loose litter drops through back to the litter box. If there are a few crumbles it picks up all but the tiniest which blend back in with the litter in the box. I have a Ragdoll cat and he leaves "large deposits" for me and the scoop remains sturdy with no bending due to the weight. I have two boxes, one with a rounded base and one with a rectangular base. This scoop works best for me with the rectangular shaped box because my cats "pee" on the rounded edge bottom corner and the litter sticks to the side so I have to scrape it off. If your cats go in the box and against the side this scoop still works great except for the little bit left on the wall of the box.

I received this litter scoop last week, and I'm not sure how I've been a cat owner for so long without it. I wish I'd bought two more. Apparently most of those little tiny pieces of waste that fall through regular litter scoops are caused by the poor design of the scoop itself. Most scoops require you to shake the scoop, which ends up breaking the waste into smaller and smaller particles, until eventually they're the size of the litter and therefore unsiftable! The Litter Lifter doesn't require any shaking - the clean litter falls immediately through the blade-shaped slots, leaving the waste behind. It took seconds to clean a litter pan that usually required several minutes. After using the Litter Lifter, if there are any stubborn small bits left behind, I use the Zilla Reptile Terrarium Bedding Substrate Litter Cleaner Corner Scoop to sort them, but that's because I'm crazy about cleaning the litter. For most people, just the Litter Lifter will be more than enough.
High speed scooping for not much money

I bought this and an aluminum, Teflon coated scoop at the same time since I knew I wanted something better than the cheap plastic ones I was using.
I actually prefer this to the metal scoop that cost almost twice as much. The aluminum scoop has a better handle and sifts a little more finely but this thing is just so fast and so easy that I like it better. The small litter "fines" are no real problem and the normal sized, soiled litter is sifted quickly.
If you have a relatively large litter box or a pan with no top at all this may be the scoop you want. I think it would be a little less maneuverable than needed in a small, covered box.
This scoop is inexpensive, sturdy and VERY fast. The litter passes through the tines instantly; there's no shaking; I like it.

I bought one of these scoops years ago and liked it very much. It had recently broken, however, and I feared I would not find a suitable replacement. When I saw this on your web site, I immediately ordered one. I used it for the first time today and was not disappointed. It makes litter scooping easier. The handle length and overall sturdiness do fine lifting heavy clumps, and it handles smaller bits of litter just as easily. Amazon's price was less than the pet store's, and I received free shipping. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I share my life with 17 cats and have purchased the Kattails Kat Kave litter boxes which are HUGE. Each can hold 40 pounds of clumping litter. That is a lot of litter to push around and clean daily. This scoop makes the chore effortless. The way the tongs are beveled permits the litter to glide effortlessly through it, trapping the offending debris.
Do not just order one....order multiples since they are not easily found in pet stores.
Amazon has the best price as well.
