The pie maker arrived on time as promised. My wife and I were anxious to use it so the next day we made strawberry pies. We used my wife's own pie crust and the cutters worked perfectly. After reading the reviews before purchasing we saw where some one suggested using a strip of parchment paper under the bottom crust to lift out the pie when done. We did this and they came out perfectly with no breaking. The only issue that we found was the cooking times listed are not a exact and should only be used as a reference. After checking and adding time we found that the cooking time was 15-20 minuets. As long as you experiment it really isn't an issue. Now on to the chicken pot pies.

Received it cracked and without any of the accessories it claims to be with it. Box had trash in it when received. Taped it back up and returned it the same day.

Had problems placing pie crust--bottom fell out before entire crust was settled. Baker worked well, bottom crust cooked well. I'll try other recipes like muffins next time.

I'm very happy with my little pie baker. I've baked egg quiches, apple pies, cornbread, cupcakes, chicken pot pies and brownies. The hardest thing is gauging how long to cook everything. I think it takes practice and try and error. The recipe book helped somewhat with a starting point. It's good for two people.
