Nozzle clogged after first use

I really wanted to like this product because of its excellent EWG rating. But the nozzle got clogged after our first use. It was like the white zinc oxide paste would clog up the nozzle every time I tried to spray. Even holding the can, I would get white paste all over my hands. When it would spray, it mostly came out as tiny bits of string cheese and only a small bit at a time. Definitely not continuous. I had to use a pen to try to clean out the nozzle after each tiny spray. And that was not very successful. I suppose I could clean it by running it under hot water. But chances are, if you're outside and in need of sun protection you're not going to have a convenient hot water source nearby.
I have a different brand of children's mineral sunscreen spray that does not have this problem.

I love this! As long as you shake it up we'll before spraying, it goes on smooth and is easy to rub in. Like all good sunscreens with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, it will not fade completely. You're going to be a hint of white. But it rubs in so much better than they used to and keeps me from burning without irritating my skin.

Very disappointed. I have used this product in the past bc it was on the EWG list of safe sunscreens but the last 2 bottles (which had not expired) had separated so it only sprayed clear liquid with some white blobs. I tried to spread it on my hand to see if it would at least recombine but it left white streaks. I imagine the actual sunscreen part is the white portion and there wasn't much of it spraying out. Waste of money.

I am allergic to chemical sunscreens so I have to use this type that stays on the surface of your skin. This is the only brand I have found with a spray option, which is life changing. The other types come in tubs or tubes, usually in little 1 oz containers like the colored zinc oxide we put on our noses growing up. This disperses the lotion and lets us not feel soaked in lotion.

Love this stuff, my kids have not had a sunburn all summer which can always be hit or miss with natural based sunscreens. I love the convenience of the spray but don't be fooled you do still have to rub in and quickly after spraying or it will be very difficult. Only negatives are price and there seems to be a lot left that you cannot spray toward the end of the bottle.
