It wasn't easy to find a body powder like my grandma used to use, but I found this and it's close. My main issue: it's packaged in a cardboard container which is pretty flimsy. When I opened the shipping package, even though it was wrapped in plastic, powder had leaked out and was all over the box. A waste of product and a mess to clean up off my floor. Other than that, the powder is nice, not overly scented.

I was really excited to receive this product based upon its reviews. Yes, the powder does smell like roses, but I don't think the scent is perfect. The rose scent has an artificial way about it, although it's very minimal. I will still use the product, as the smell isn't off enough to deter me. The powder itself is decent. It's talc based, so be careful about areas you use it in. The cardboard box it comes in is a bit of a pain. The top lifts off, and there's a spot where the puff sits; half of it has holes. The holes prevent too much powder from attaching to the puff, but it also prevents enough powder from being used. It can be frustrating if you're in a hurry. I frequently have to tip the container on its side or upside down and tap it a few times to get enough powder out to use. Once I have enough powder, the product slides on my skin smoothly, and leaves a delicate scent.
All in all I do like this product and will continue to buy it if I can't find anything that better suits my needs. However, I will keep my eye open for a replacement product that has a little better designed container, and has a smell that is more authentic to my nose.

I cut open the bubble-wrap type packaging, and a small brown spider walked out of the package. I'm not afraid of spiders, but I don't want to have them crawling out of packages.

I haven't opened the dusting powder yet, because I'm wondering what I'll find inside. The carton of dusting powder seems rather flimsy. It has a pleasant scent, but not the Lily of the Valley scent that I'm familiar with...I'm not sure about this product at all. Very disappointing.

Smells Ok, but it did not remind me of jasmine as much as I had hoped. It is perhaps is based on jasmine, but not a single note jasmine.

Nice amount of powder, and the powder puff is good for using the powder. The container is cardboard, and well designed. Powder is in bottom of container. Sitting above the powder is a cardboard separator piece that has some holes in it to act as a sifter. The puff rests on top of the separator, and is not sitting in powder.

I may get this brand again, but I suspect I will try one of the other scents instead.

I love this powder. It smells wonderful! I love that it comes with a powder puff to apply it. The powder is very fine and a light layer works very well and doesn't look white everywhere like regular paper powder or like shower to shower powder. I like it so much I think I'll get more for gifts.

I know others had complaints about improper packaging but I recently ordered mine through Amazon Prime so it was shipped by Amazon and I had no problems. The powder does come in a white paper/card stock container but the holes have a plastic sticker to help keep it inside. Some did seep out during shipping which I would expect since I live in Alaska but it was wrapped in it's own plastic bag and secured with tape so nothing else got powder on it.
