Excellent, very strong, renewable food grade dessicant
Farman Shaikh•December 31, 2016
Exactly what I needed....purchased a different type few days earlier which proved to be a complete waste of money, but this particular purchase was excellent!!!! Quickly took care of my excess humidity problem of around 60-70%RH (in a cooler that I use to store herbal medicine) down to the 35-40%RH that I was needing for my application.
Works like a charm, didn't need a whole lot of it and the bonus is that's it's renewable multiple times before the beads lose their effectiveness.
My advice, ditch the packets unless you're looking to dehumidify a space larger than a shoe box....my 2 cents

Good Stuff

These things work great. I use them in my air tight ammo box to reduce the likelihood of corrosion. Between the air tight ammo box and these beads (used in Absorbent Industries Dry-Packs), it stays nice and dry in my ammo box.
The Dry-Packs say you can reactivate them by putting them in a 240F oven for three hours. Good luck with that. Home ovens don't stay right at 240F. My oven, monitored with a calibrated electronic thermometer, when set to 240F varied from 310F down to 205F during those three hours. The beads basically got baked.
It was easier for me to by this quart jar of beads and just replace them when they turn green which indicates they need to be refreshed.

I make ozonated water and use these to remove moisture ...

I make ozonated water and use these to remove moisture from the input air. This is what ya need to keep things dry.
