The only issue I have had is that if the board you are ripping releases some internal stress and pinches on the splitter it is best to stop the cut

Product is as described . I have been using one for some time and has worked well. The only issue I have had is that if the board you are ripping releases some internal stress and pinches on the splitter it is best to stop the cut, shut the saw down and resaw.
