When adjusting the band length, some people have had trouble getting the band out or back in. Here are photos showing how to release the clamp that holds the band in place. Once it's released the band should slip in and out easily. Don't be put off by worries about adjusting the band, it's very easy. All you need is a small screwdriver (or an old butter knife) and scissors.

My husband recently had heart surgery with multiple complications. As a nurse, I wanted any and all pertinent information to be available to any first responders in case he is ever in an accident, or if he calls 911 to our home. I had 3 concerns when ordering this bracelet: would it be "manly" enough for him? would it be big enough for a 6'4" man, and would 7 lines truly be legible?? After reading other reviews, I took the leap. I absolutely LOVE this bracelet and so does my husband. The band is extremely long and could have been trimmed if needed, but he actually liked it a little loose. It is extremely comfortable and he agrees that it is manly and actually looks more like a sports/fitbit band from a distance. Finally, Every. Single. Line is legible and clear. I was able to include all the pertinent information that I wanted to display and I know that there will be no questions about his current health status. I would also like to give a HUGE shout out to the customer service team from this company. I ordered this bracelet, which is followed by an email from the company that provides tips for what information to include as well as FAQ list. They then give you a form to fill out with the information you wish to include on the plate. Unfortunately, we had some health set backs and I didn't respond to them in a timely manner. Not only did customer service send me an email, someone actually picked up the phone and called me. A real person reached out to me to see what they could do to help get the bracelet ordered. If we ever need another piece of medical identification again, I will order from them .. and I will be giving their information to all of my nursing friends and physicians. Excellent product. Excellent customer service!

We have a family member who is a large man, fairly big boned, and has a heart condition. He's had trouble finding a medical alert bracelet locally that fits well and holds up to wearing only when he goes out. After reading the reviews, I ordered this one for him on April 1st and as soon as we got the confirmation email from the company, we filled out the engraving form. It was shipped within a couple days and we received it today"”April 8th. It looks quite durable, the blue is a nice color that stands out well and gets your attention, the engraving is very legible, and it fits him with a little room to spare. We won't be cutting it down because it can't go over his hand without the catch undone, but it's not saggy loose either. There is also a little wallet size pamphlet that you can put med information on that he can carry with him as well. He's happy, and feels far safer going out & about now that he has that with him. I'm happy because it was money well spent. Anything at the local pharmacies that had to be engraved would have been far less detailed and more expensive, and would have taken 4-6 weeks to ship. Now I know he's as protected as we can make him. .
