This whip is long (seriously long)

My ghod... my first impression was Did you realize how LONG this whip is?
No seriously .. it's the height of a small child.
My goal for purchasing this was to wear it as an accessory on my belt in places where it's appropriate but no -- wearing this will be like wearing a broom. This whip is LONG, my gosh. I really don't know if I should return it or trim it or accept it in my life.
It is very well made and I guess made for some serious whipping and some serious swing. It is no toy and no "accessory".
I can cut the strands by 1/3 and still have a decent whip.

Nice flogger, heavy handle

The leather quality is very nice. The falls are soft and have a really solid thud to them, but can also sting a little if you work it right. My only complaint is the handle. I'm pretty sure it's just a solid steel bar, feels like a small workout weight or something underneath the braided leather wrapping. To me, it's just the slightest bit too heavy. It does balance the falls nicely though making them feel light in the swing. All-in-all I like this flogger. For the price, it's a good deal.
Unbalanced on the side of too heavy

It seems to be very well constructed except for the weight... to me, the extremely heavy handle is unnecessary. I understand wanting some weight and balance, but this seems unbalanced on the side of too heavy. I feel like I'm brandishing barbell with a super light, soft tails.
Normally floggers I've used with this kind of weight have heavier falls too, not all the weight in the handle and otherwise soft and light.
But it looks great and seems durable so far. Just don't drop the damn thing on your foot or you'll be the one calling red.

Absolutely stunning, quality flogger. Nice size, heavy and feels good in the hand. The craftmanship of this item is immediately obvious. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

This whip is much heavier than expected! Me and my lady LOVE it!!! It does not take much to provide the desired intenseness and whipping sting. Even just a light flick has the desired effect due to the weight of the lashes. We expect we will have years of fun with this flogger!
