Never had sorghum until I married my wife 47 years ago. Her family is from Tennessee and was exposed to it there on buttered biscuits. Her grandpa used to boil the stuff when he was younger. To eat, he mixed the butter and sorghum on his plate before transferring to a biscuit. I just butter the biscuit then pour this stuff on. I am crazy for biscuits this way! Have tried several brands that I like and this one rates at the top. Good consistency and nice flavor without being too strong. Understand that batches can vary from year to year, but am very happy with this one so far.

I'm from Tennessee so I may have higher expectations than most for sorghum. I must say this was very good. The waitress at Cracker Barrel said it is the brand they used when they served sorghum. Yes, I bring my own now.
