If you look at the label, it seems like a really good lunch substitute. If you read the indgredients, however, it has corn syrup which adds 7 grams of sugar I believe. If I am reading the label correctly. This is different from a Larabar that uses dates to keep everything combined. Now that makes that bar higher in sugar but not in added sugar. So it's a mixed bag if you believe natural sugars are better than refined. The taste of the bar is good and for the price I got my box for, I would carry this on a hiking trip with some jerky.
Honestly, you can't go wrong with dark chocolate and cherry. The flavor combo is a hit with the family.

I've eaten these for years. I think I like these better than all other granola bar types. I don't really know how healthy they are and they do seem to heavily lean into the image of being good for you. I'm sure they are better than candy bars, but by how much? IDK. They taste good and I mostly use them to take the edge off of my hunger until I can eat a more proper meal.
