Durability problem

Watch face cracked and broke within 2 weeks. For a kids, especially a boy, watch it wasn't very durable. My son did have something to do with the demise but accidentally knocking it against a wall doesn't seem like it should be a deal breaker... in this case it was.
Not really made for children

I don't know how it functions, but I CAN tell you that this is not a child's watch! It might fit a teen with bigger wrists, perhaps, but not a younger child. I bought it for my 6 year old. The one we received looks exactly like the one in the photo so I know it has to be the right product, however on the tightest setting it flopped around on his wrist. So I tried it on myself. Guess what? It was too big for ME on the tightest setting! Now my son and I do have rather narrow wrists, but even on my husband, who is pretty average sized, it was on one of the tighter settings. I would call this a men's watch.
Was kid sized, no longer.

When I ordered the blue one in 2015, it was kids sized. The band clip broke and I reordered the same item (literally from my order history) and now it's not kids sized anymore. Beware.

Great watch for my 5 years old boy. He doesn't need to take off while showing. He even wears it when he go swimming. Definite waterproofed. Before this watch, he already lost and broke 3. Since he doesn't need to take this watch off for any reasons, he has already worn it for 1 year. The Paints felt off a little on the surface. But the battery is still running. And it has all the features that a young kid need. Like date, time, stop watch and days of week. Highly recommended.

The watch looks great!
Unfortunately the other reviews were dead on. The waste of paper instructions drove me to become psychotic and I will guess that a few before me have probably become alcoholics all based on the stress this damn watch causes.
I am at a loss that Amazon would even sell such an item. I have never experienced a more impossible device based on manufacturers instructions!
You want to know how to set it, look for the instructions posted by a customer in the reviews.
