Works great
Perfect for TDI... or any diesel engine. Better then adding Bio-diesel.

I've been using this in my 2013 VW Golf MKVI 2.0l TDI DSG since taking delivery - my first diesel vehicle. It was Cert. Pre-owned w/ about 5K miles. It now has 41.5K miles. No idea what grade/quality of fuel was used by previous owner or if they used any diesel fuel additive. The online forum consensus with most TDI owners, and diesel owners in general, recommended using a fuel additive. After researching all the "chemical" diesel additives (i.e, Stanadyne, Opti-Lube,..etc), including adding bio-diesel (which I prefer and was at the top of the list with Spicer Test '07), I concluded that Bio-Power was the best/only choice for a few reasons; mainly because it's a BIO-BASED product, plus, it's a concentrated formula that has more cleaning & protection capabilities compared to bio-diesel (read RLI excerpt below). So, along with using only Top-Tier Diesel #2 ULSD @ Shell and other stations, I only have to add 1oz/per tank (14.2/gal capacity) of Bio-Power for maintenance treatment - that's 32 fill ups/8-12 months - with this 1 qt bottle. That's approx. $0.55/per tank, compared to time and gas trying to find a nearby station with Bio-diesel (closest station w/ B20 is 40 miles) and adding enough to create a B2 (2%) tank-blend (highest % recommended by VW) @ $3-$4/gal. Makes bio-sense, eh? Especially given the low price of diesel these days. Regardless though, the benefits of using Bio-Power far outweigh the cost, or not using an additive at all, to have an engine that'll be running strong after 100K+ miles. I wish I could run B100/SVO w/ the new CR CJAA TDI engine and be that much closer to a complete Bio-Based vehicle (but that would require some expensive modifications). So for now, Bio-Power will have to do (along with their oil - see below). Anyways, the engine has been running smooth, quiet, responsive, and clean, with better then expected fuel economy (easily 40+ MPG on HWY @ 65-75 MPH and as high as 45-50 MPG avg. consumption at times). Note: I also replaced the fuel filter at 10K miles, just in case, as well as at 20K and 40K scheduled maintenance service (performed 40K myself). Very clean looking at last change. No bubbles, dirt, or metal in fuel filter/canister.
I would also highly recommend using their Renewable Lubricants 85343 Bio SynXtra HD Plus Super High Performance Motor Oil SAE 5W40 Low Ash, 1 Gallon

Here's an excerpt from email correspondence with RLI VP regarding Bio-Power;
"First of all Bio-Power Summer Diesel Fuel Conditioner is a highly concentrated formulation that contains anti-wear/lubricity, anti-oxidation, anti-corrosion, detergent/dispersant (cleanliness) additives. For maintenance (keep clean) at 1 gallon to 2000 gallons of fuel, is only 0.05%, and for clean-up at 1 gallon to 1000 gallons of fuel, is only 0.1%. It has been proven that there are only benefits from using Bio-Power with absolutely no detrimental effect. It has been tested up to 0.2% to provide benefits. Even if you over treat by mistake (reasonable amount) it is not detrimental, but there is a point of no return on your money (not cost effective to over treat). Biodiesel at the treat rate 0.5 to 1.0% will add lubricity but will not have the additional antiwear, anti-oxidation, anti-corrosion, detergent/dispersant (cleanliness) additives that are provided with the Bio-Power protection. Bio-Power has been proven to put money back into your pocket, provide proven fuel economy, longer fuel filter life and engine protection that can't be duplicated with biodiesel.
Biodiesel does not come close to the performance of Bio-Power. The EPA allows us to make claims with Bio-Power that can't be made with biodiesel and/or diesel fuel alone."
