I see why this jack was rated so highly. It is a quality product. No static noted, and no intermittent cutting out, like the crappy one that was in my LP clone. It seems to make the volume knobs work better(if that makes sense).

Great quality. Purchased to replace the original jack on an epiphone wildkat that would constantly come loose. This jack was easy to replace, has not come loose after several months of use, and holds the chord firmly in place better than the original.
