The original switch on my travel trailer Suburban water heater became stuck in the on position. I didn't bother replacing it since the water heater worked. I finally messed up by turning the inside button on with no water in the tank. Thus, when I replaced the element I went ahead and replaced the switch. I should have done it sooner. Just pry the old one from the top or bottom and the switch will pop right out. Disconnect the two wires. Reconnect the two wires and push the switch back in and your done. Too easy! Should not have waited and I could have saved replacing the heating element.

This is a 120 volt switch. I previously ordered it from two other vendors, in both cases I had to return the switch. Even though the bag was labeled 120 volts the switches were labeled 12 volts and looked nothing like the picture. Order from this vendor if you want the correct part.
