I can't give it 5 stars only because 1. It can pill with layering other topical products, or if you apply more without allowing the first layer to dry properly. 2. The tint could afford to be slightly more pigmented. I would have no problem wearing this as my sole complexion product out and about anywhere. This product makes my skin look healthy and dries down completely smoothe/natural. Non-greasy, not sticky or shiny but healthy glow. Matte/demi matte feel.

Overall the ingredients are fabulous, good for the skin, and offers great protection.

I started using this product on the advice of my dermatologist. I used it under my make up at first but have been just using it as my daily make up fir a long time. I am 77 but have often been taken for someone much younger. I am never without it!

I normally wear the sunbum tinted sunscreen because it has a great matte finish, but I find it can sometimes be too drying and/or can settle in my fine lines/wrinkles. I decided to try this one as it was described as demi-matte by a couple reviews I watched. I would agree that the Elta UV Physical has a Demi-matte finish when first applied and if I stay inside. It also doesn't settle in my lines/wrinkles as much as the sun bum. However, when I go outside (in 100 degree heat where I am) it does seem to get pretty shiny and take on more of that thick/tacky sunscreen feel. It dries down again pretty quickly once I'm inside, but I just really can't stand that feeling. I think it will be a great sunscreen as the weather cools off some. It spreads really easily on the skin and blends perfectly into my fair/rosy skin. It doesn't cause me any stinging or breakouts. I plan to stick to sunbum for the rest of the summer and rotate this one in once fall hits. Also, at first glance it appears to be pretty pricey, but the tube is almost double the size of most drugstore tinted sunscreens so I feel like it's actually pretty reasonable.
