Perfect for my application. Well constructed and fits perfectly in my DYMO Lablewriter case. I use it to trim printed label ends that are to long.

I was disappointed when this finally arrived (long shipping time from China). I guess the other reviews were too good to be true. I intended to use this for a travel kit with my vaporizer when replacing the cotton wick. The scissors are sharp but feel poorly made. I had to bend them slightly to get them to open and there was what looked like factory grease on them. I cleaned them up but can't get all the smudges out. It wouldn't be a big deal except it's almost like I can taste some of the grease on from my vaporizer. It might just be in my head but I have a similar pair of scissors that came with the coil master kit which are way better quality. I was hoping these would be equivalent but I suppose that was wishful thinking.
handy folding scissors

Many, many years ago, my grandmother taught me to crochet. And, she gave me a pair of folding scissors on a ribbon so I would always have them handy for changing colors, etc.. After about 30 years of my own use, on top of however long she had them, they finally broke. I was looking for a replacement pair, and found these. They are incredibly sharp, yet have blunted tips. The blunted tips are both a pro and a con, as I used my old pair to also rip out seams, or get in tight spaces to snip a thread or make a small cut for whatever project I was working on.
Pros:
- easy to fold
- blunt tips
- sharp
- between 2" and 3" long folded
- about 5" long unfolded
- portable
Cons:
- the little orange hanging thing can sometimes get in the way
- they don't have my initials carved in them by my grandmother :)
I have found these to be quite handy to have around. They are currently hanging from a blue ribbon attached to my crochet bag, ready to go whenever I am. I would highly recommend these scissors to anyone looking for a handy pair of folding scissors.
