When I first bought this I was impressed cleaned well. Has some problems with larger leaves. However within 6 months bags wont stay closed (cheap velcro). I understand on the new models they replaced them. After 13 months it quit completely. Called who I purchased it from and they told me to call the manufacturer. The manufacturer instructed me to send it to a repair shop. When I did I was told it was cracked and had several bad parts over $195.00 to fix. I was also told by the shop that this was a cheap unit and they tried to upsell me to a more expensive one. So if you want no support from the out let you purchased it from, and no manufacturer support, paired with a unit that will just last until it is out of warrantee for a month than this is for you. My advice DON'T BUY IT.

I bought this robot when I moved into a rental house with a pool without a cage. I didn't want to spend a lot as I wasn't sure how long I would be in the house but with the oak trees on the property I needed something. It's now been six months and he "Alexander" as we named him, is still going strong. The pool is huge maybe 20 x 50 feet and 9 feet deep on the deep end. He takes about two hours to vacuum the bottom and goes well up the side of the walls. He has good suction and picks up all the larger debris. The robot sticks to the deep end for the most part but I just drag the cord to the shallow end and it will stay there long enough to clean it up. The two bags inside have plenty of space and I only take them out once a week. They have strong Velcro which I open and flip open and hose off. Works great for the price just not as powerful as the more expensive ones but I'm happy.

Awesome. No more vacuum hoses or draining the treated water. it mixes the water and added chemicals better than the pump while it is vacuuming, Recommend.

I am giving this product a 4 out of 5 because we are still trying to figure out how to maneuver this thing. We have 15X3- oval above ground pool. The first day we ran the robot for 4 hours; the seconds day for 1 hours. It did great job picking all debris and sand off the bottom, however, It seems to be stuck on one side of the pool. It just goes to the middle and then to the same half of the pool. We had to manually move it to another side to clean.
Bags were easy to take out and clean with a garden hose. Robot picks up even large debris like leafs and sticks.
So far I am pretty happy with it.

Good vacuum for an above ground pool. Does it's job for a small above ground pool. Not good for very dirty pools. But great for daily maintenance cleaning.
