Incredible fish oil. I am normally critical fish oils because they often don't offer what they're supposed to contain.... the Omega 3 Fatty Acids. Everyone is always so concerned with the fishy smell or fishy burps which isn't why you're taking Fish Oil. (just for the record, these have no smell and I have yet to have a single fishy burp in 2 bottles worth of use)

So, when you open this bottle, as I said, you aren't greeted the fishy smell that you often notice with low quality fish oils. The caps themselves are smaller than I would have expected, soft, and very easy to swallow. Unlike most fish oils, these are NOT ENTERIC COATED. (Apparently there's a study regarding enteric coated fish oil pills that shows that the coating causes an inefficiency when it comes to providing the nutritional benefits.) This fish oil is of such high quality that it doesn't need the coating. In fact, I now view such coating as a way to hide low quality fish oils so you won't notice their burps.

Moving on... why take Fish Oil? You want the Omega 3s. Specifically, the EPA and DHA. The American Heart Association says you should be taking 1000 mg to receive the maximum benefit of Omega-3 fatty acids. So at 2000mg Fish Oil with 1,400mg Omega 3, 800mg EPA and 600mg DHA, you're getting a very good sized dose. And remember, if you want more, you can always take 3 caps instead of the recommended 2 (in fact, most high quality fish oils have a dose of 3 caps)

This fish oil is purified through molecular distillation. Usually when you shop for fish oil what you'll see is, "purified to remove mercury" well, there are more impurities in fish oil than just the heavy metals. Molecular distillation removes all types of impurities"¦ heavy metals, PCB's and any other toxins. That is what you want, especially if you're going to be taking fish oil for the long term.

I will absolutely be purchasing this again. I liked the last fish oil I was taking a lot, but this one is even better.

This is my favorite brand of fish oil out of the 4 or 5 I've tried. I like it enough to have it on my Amazon subscription. It's reasonably priced and has a high amount of Omega 3's. In conjunction with a turmeric powder I take, I feel it does a nice job keeping my inflammation issues at bay. One of the first things I noticed when I first started taking it is it also really helps keep my psoriasis under control. I do get a little bit of the fish oil burps, but nothing that's stopping me from ordering again. If you're looking for a fish oil supplement, I say give this one a shot.

Two things make me a repeat buyer. First thing: I can't find another supplement with this amount of EPA and DHA in it. I've looked!
Second thing: no fish burps. Hooray! I have a particular type of arthritis at the base of my thumbs that can be very painful. It hurts when I don't take this supplement, and it does not hurt when I do. Works for me!

It was suggested by my ophthalmologist that I take a strong dose of EPA for my dry eye. This was the best (most potent) that I found. It has worked beautifully and I really like the product. I did find it difficult to swallow such a large capsule at first, but I discovered that if I swish it in my mouth first and get it wet, it slides right down. The company seems VERY interested in doing a good job and selling a good product.

I love this product! I was looking for an omega-3 fish oil supplement that had a high enough ratio of both types of oils, wouldn't be as expensive as the Nordic Naturals, and would not leave me with the dreaded "fish burps." This product met all my expectations--wonderfully.

I only wish I had a baseline of all my lipids etc before I started taking this supplement, so I could comment more directly on how it's impacted my blood chemistry.

Very high quality product--one I now have on subscription so I never run out!
