they are good for the price

They glow under blacklight quite well, they are good for the price... definitely worth the money. Then again they aren't the highest of quality, but it's better than spending 400 dollars for aramith blacklist balls.
Awesome product & great value

I seldom give 5-stars but these pool balls are the beez kneez. Similar competing sets sell for over $200, so at under $40 these are a great value. I was a little concerned that they might be inferior sort of *novelty* product, but they seem to be very high quality on both finish and performance.

We don't use them without a blacklight - we have 2 of these directly above the table: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HCSEFEY . These lights make the balls glow brightly, and offer enough ambient light to see the table and pockets.

But with those lights, the balls are dazzling bright. A few of the balls like the 7 and 2 and 8 are not bright - only the white numbers show up. But that's to be expected since dark colors don't fluoresce in black light.

I'm not sure how well they glow in darkness. Not nearly as well I suspect.

The images I attached are far more subdued than the real life images. I don't think cameras are made to represent UV backgrounds very well.

They make a game of pool a lot more fun! Highly recommended if you need a replacement set of balls or are looking to spice up the game...

UPDATE after 3 months of nearly weekly games 10-20 a night, no chips and they all look good as new. Except the cue which some bonehead scratched off the table onto concrete. And even that only sustained a few light marks, no chips!

Glow in dark (must charge set for a minimal of 2 hours with absolute direct sunlight or daylight household bulbs)
I love these. You do have to purchase black lights

They work. Here's proof.

Don't listen to the reviews, I just took a shot on these. They glow. Here's your proof and comparison. I have two LED Blacklight Bulbs inside the lamp above my table and they illuminate like crazy. Sure they emit a lot of purple but I prefer it. Looks awesome. And they play just fine if you're not a major league professional. I've always played recreational and they play just like any other ball would.
