Works really nicely but it is almost impossible to not get some feathered edges. These take hours to scrub off.

I wish I would have taken a before and after photo of my fireplace but it does work. As the directions state you must lay it on thick every where. In some areas I was trying to extend it because I was running low and applied thin, it extreamly hard to get off. The only con I saw to this product is that I would need 3 buckets to do my whole fireplace.

Hated it.......
Even though it potentially cleaned ...the process was very tedious and unless you apply the product with many thick layers it is impossible to remove. The black spots I wanted to remove are also still there with about half of the product still stuck on there because I haven't had the time or patience to get back to peeling it off. Ugh!!!!

I used it exactly as described and it did not remove the fireplace soot and it was a mess to use. It drips everywhere. I had much better luck using natural stone cleaner
