This is so very versatle. One camping trip it was used over a doorway to keep out mosquitos at night, tented over 2 chairs during the day to keep off flies, and another night draped over the back of a 8 ft truck bed to keep the sleeper bug free. Will be purchasing 2 more. One as a gift and another for me. Very well made with all kinds of ties and options, for a SUPER good price.

Only suitable for hanging over a low cot as shown in the picture. I was hoping for more of a large sheet I could use for multiple purposes, but the shape is specific to this use. If that is what you want it for, its a fairly heavy duty net and works well.
Just like my Army issue.

Yup. US GI correct. The GI cots used 4 1 inch by 30 inch wooden poles to support the net. It's made for that exact height. That leaves 3-4 inches hanging around the edges of your cot.
If you buy a non GI cot you will need to devise a way to hang or support this bug net.
Both the nets I received were brand new and indeed had NSN info on their tags.
These won't stop the ting biting midges , no see ums, but do stop flies and mosquitoes very well.

I have used my 3 Vietnam mosquito nets for over 50 years to cover hundreds of game animals against flies and nats. I even have the large safety pins I started with. While those southern boys want this net to work on noseeums, that is not what we need them to do out West. This net is brand new, fine mesh, original military quality, and much bigger than my Vietnam ones. I used to use 2 nets to cover an elk but with this one, I can use one. It is big enough to cover two deer hanging sided by side. Now if I could just be around to watch this one last 50 years! The quality is there, so my grandchildren should make them last that long. Make sue you wash on cold and air dry only.
