Wanted to try gator, was pretty good but would probably like it more if it didn't come from a can.
Not worth the cost.

The page says this is a "1/2lb. can", except it isn't. The can itself (which measures 3" high by 2.5" wide--i.e. very small) says "NET WT. 7.5 OZ." , and when you open it you find that about 75% of the weight is their "tasty cajun gravy". While I admit that their cajun gravy IS tasty, there is so little actual meat, which is all in tiny bits, that there is only three or four teaspoons of alligator meat, maybe two ounces, if that, which makes this around $120 per pound. On top of that, the gravy overwhelms and hides the taste of the meat. Other than knowing I was eating meat, I couldn't tell you what kind of meat it was by taste alone. I presume it was alligator, but it could have been just about any meat. I don't recommend this product and won't be buying it again.

It was better than I expected, someone had gave it a bad review said it was a vile smelling ,and tasting product.
But not at all,my only complaint is, for that price it should have been a bigger can.
