Perfect fit for our little hatchet

Perfect fit for our little hatchet. Need to do some additional waterproofing. We don't store the blade in the leather since moisture could cause some rusting. But when we carry the hatchet, the cover is always on it.
Seems to weather the elements just fine. Used it 3 times on camping trips now

Well made sheath. My axe is larger than most at 4lbs; however it covers the axe and I extended the strap to fit my axe. No issues at all. Seems to weather the elements just fine. Used it 3 times on camping trips now.

I picked this up because Stihl company axes don't come with a leather sheath, this fit perfect on Stihl Woodcutter Camp & Forestry Hatchet, Need to pick up some leather dye and all is good. If I need to I will pickup another one.
Great Alternative Budget Sheath

I didn't have time to make my own, so I bought this. Product is better than I thought. Decent leather, excellent thickness. The logo is in a conspicuous spot, but I didn't care since it was dyed black before the edges were burnished and sealed with beeswax/oil. Fits my Vaughan carpenter's hatchet (22oz, 13" handle from Wally World) quite nicely. Got used clearing an overgrown backyard, held up to my abuse. Highly recommend!
