Dry, no filling.

I have not had one of these for years and got one in place of my usual that was out of stock. I remembered these used to be all butter, now they have margarine. The cinnamon filling and icing was sparse. The cake was dry and flavorless, but not near the expiry date. The cake, minus 2 slices has been in the fridge for over 7 days and no one will eat the rest. Our regular brand is gone within 4 days. Sad, because these used to be delicious. I hate when companies sell and the new ones ruin things that used to be good.

I would like to ask that they put these items back in the store, I have to travel over fifty miles to get them. This was a Sunday morning treat for our family before my husband died. He is gone, my kids are gone and I would like to have them with my grandson. This was a tasty meal with scrambled eggs and orange juice not high in the ratings for calories but was a very special breakfast treat

Please bring back the Sara Lee Pecan Coffee Cake. Our family loves this particular cake and so do many of my friends. We can buy them by the box if necessary. Never did I think we would have to beg for a product from Sara Lee.
A magnificent product available nowhere.

My mother used to buy these and serve them on weekends dating all the way back to the 1960s. They are thoroughly DELICIOUS (especially warmed up) and not particularly good for you. Who cares? I have tried to find them EVERYWHERE and can find them NOWHERE (in or around the SF Bay Area.) I would PAY MONEY to have a few shipped to me just to taste them again.
An appeal to the good folks at Sara Lee: Please please please reissue this wonderful product which for some of us is the very definition of comfort food. I would love to share them with my daughter before she grows up and leaves home!
