I thought for the price of this case that I would get a trinket that would be great for one weekend and then need to be disposed of. But after dropping it several times, going through a convention where it was tossed about and shoved into my purse, this case looks as good as when I opened it. I haven't used it that long and if my opinion changes, I'll update this review, but I am very happy with the quality vs cost of this.

I'm a smoker and enjoy smoking. I also either roll or stuff my own cigarettes so I have to have a case. While I often use plastic cases or plastic and metal cases, I always keep one or two of this style. This one is not expensive but it is nice looking without being tacky. It is the one I'll use when I dress nicely or when I've feeling nostalgic. The case seems well made and will last. The elastic that holds the cigarettes in the case is superior to the metal or plastic clips used on more costly cases. All in all this is a product that is nicer than expected and has a bit of class while remaining inexpensive to purchase. I can ask for nothing more than that!

I just got my new case today and I love it, it holds 18 cigarettes just 2 shy of a full pack but thats ok I'm gonna use it anyway, it was delivered on 2-4-16 and it was ordered on 1-29-16 so I got it in about a week. Here is a picture.

I purchased this for myself, with the intention of putting cigarettes in it.
Pros: the etching is really very nice - it's not girly or manly, it's just nice.
The metal is not as thin as you'd think at all.
The clips inside hold your smokes in place very well.
Cons: you've read it before, but I'll say it again. The locking design of this case is poor. If you only fill up one side, it mostly stays closed. Unfortunately, I smoke a lot more than 10 cigarettes, unless I'm only heading out for an hour or two, so basically I'm refilling a cigarette case too often. If you want to use this as a scant card and cash holder, you'll probably like it well enough.

This case is beautiful! It's not anything high-end, but I didn't need high-end - I needed a low price. As long as you're not expecting a $10 case to be "as good as" a $30+ case, this cigarette case is a definite winner.
The design is textured, which leads me to believe it will stand a bit more wear than if the picture was smooth. Honestly, it feels really good in my hands. I am a writer, so I feel that this design fits my personality quite well.
I suppose it could make a decent wallet, too, for those looking to use it as a wallet - although I'm sure you could find something better suited for that purpose for a lower price. As a cigarette case, it's a steal.
