Ugly and probably resin, not metal

They are really quite ugly, in my opinion. They don't appear to be either hammered or bronze. In fact, I would guess they are not metal at all. My best guess is that they are some sort of plastic or resin. The pictures do not do them justice, because in person they appear to be a blue-grey paint with a web of a copper-like color. In my opinion, the seller should be challenged and removed from Amazon for deceptive marketing. Metal as the material, really???!!!

I needed extra light in my living room as we are in between light fixtures. The floor lamp seems a bit short but that is my only complaint. They are a bronze finish so they go with everything. For the price, they are a really nice accept the room.

Very nice lamps. The only thing that is keeping me from giving them a 5 star rating is the floor lamp was difficult to put together straight. The parts wanted to screw together cross-threaded and stay crooked. A little elbow grease and some manual "maneuvering" finally got it together straight.
I had read the reviews about the 3-way switch messing up after a while, so I ordered some replacement chain-pull switches when I ordered the lamps. Changed them out as I put them together. I would rather have the chain-pulls anyway.
The hardest part about the whole assembly was getting them out of the box without making a total mess of the Styrofoam all over.

My set arrived with dirty (black smear) shades on both table lamps

Looks OK, but they are relatively smaller in size than what is usually used in a living room, and the standing Lamp is shorter than standard. My set arrived with dirty (black smear) shades on both table lamps. I would not buy from this manufacturer again.
So worth it!
