Let me start off by saying that I NEVER write reviews on these types of products because i rarely find anything worthy of a review. But because I relied heavily on others' reviews of this product & it turned out to be the best purchase I have ever made for myself, I think it has earned a positive review.
I first bought this shampoo out of desperation after trying so many other dandruff shampoos including ketoconazole which was prescribed by my dermatologist. Nothing seemed to relieve that annoying itch and my dandruff was so bad I would avoid wearing black shirts because of the embarrassing flakes. And to make matters worse, I have natural black hair so the dandruff wss super obvious. So I decided to try this product as a last resort, and man do I wish I would've tried this sooner! I was ecstatic the very next day after washing my hair with this shampoo as it significantly reduced the amount of flakes, and after a few months of regular use (about 2-3x a week) my dandruff was completely gone! I made the mistake of trying out another natural shampoo made by SheaMoisture this past week and my scalp began to itch and the flakes were reappearing. Luckily I still had a small amount of sage shampoo left in my old bottle so I instantly felt relief after washing my hair. I will never switch shampoos again! I trust the ingredients in this product as well as its effectiveness and the price is reasonable considering I used to spend a lot more on the prescription grade stuff which was harsher and more drying on my scalp. Plus, I can now go days without washing my hair so one bottle typically lasts 3 months! It's certainly worth a try and I absolutely recommend it to those who have tried everything else with no luck.

I've tried a few of the shampoos from Maple Holistics and like them all. My favorite is the winter mint duo, but I live in the tropics and have oily hair so I rarely use the conditioner and hate to get both every time. I hope they'll sell that shampoo individually in the near future!

My close second favorite is this product, the Sage shampoo. It's great for oily hair and doesn't strip it, but cleans well and calms my scalp. Occasionally I mixed the "Degrease" shampoo with this on especially icky days, but found I mostly didn't need it when using their regular shampoo.

I have been asked by them several times if I wanted a free sample for posting an honest review. So far I've loved the product and just never reviewed it. This is my own review. I have not received a free bottle from them for this. That said, I'll probably try to dig out that coupon/email eventually and get my free bottle. I've bought their Sage shampoo 2-3 times already, the mint winter blend duo 1-2x, the Degrease shampoo once, and now my dog gets their pet shampoo (sage) as well.

The smaller bottle and price made me more conservative than I think I am with other shampoos so the price evened out in that I didn't waste as much. Besides that, to me it's been completely worth it to find a shampoo that doesn't strip my hair or make my scalp itch or give me crazy dandruff after a while. This has done the opposite, and as a resident of a very humid and hot environment, my hair and skin are subjected to lots of punishment. Before this I lived in Boston and these products served me equally well and I have become a regular customer.

Bottom line is, they are definitely worth a try.

This shampoo is beyond words wonderful. It is all natural, which means it is better for your hair and scalp. There are no harsh chemicals which benefits your hair and does not strip your natural oils from it. I switched from head and shoulders and I cannot stress how much it has aided my scalp. This sage shampoo has an awesome natural sage cent and it feels amazing on my head. Jojoba oil found in this product is essential for moisturizing our hair and skin when our body stops doing it naturally. Argan oil is rich in vitamin A and vitamin E it nourishes the hair and skin. Tea Tree oil is one of my favorites. It's a natural bug repellent it is proven for better health of hair and scalp. It soothes dry flaky skin and removes dandruff. All of these ingredients have a multitude of uses in general. Natural products are always better than chemicals. I think would I rather tell people I use harsh chemicals on my hair or my hair looks this good because I use all natural products. :)

This is one of the two Maple Holistic shampoo I bought (other one was Pure Tea Tree Oil Shampoo - Natural Essential...) ,hoping to help me with my dry scalp, but it did not help a bit. Apart from functional misfit, this product does not pour easy due to the way they have bottled it. Smell may be the only thing you will appreciate. The product says its Natural, but the ingredients lists all chemical that does not seem natural at all. Im very disappointed with this product.

I love the fact that this shampoo is all natural while taking care of my dandruff issue. I use it about twice or three times a week and it also has great smell compared to other harsh dandruff shampoos. After using for about 2 months, I think it has improved my dandruff issue gradually. It was a second time I ordered this shampoo.
