Inexpensive and functional

A friend of mine recommended gymboss to me so after using a free interval app on my phone for a while, I decided to order gymboss. I really love it. I found the directions kind of hard to follow to turn it off, but otherwise great product. I find that I stick to my intervals better now too. Very inexpensive and does exactly what I need.
Great device for the serious athlete!

I use this Interval Timer a lot. It has proven to be dependable and has lasted quite a while. Hasn't broken yet, so I can't say it has any problems. Mostly I use it at my local gym while throwing a 10lb ball against a trampoline, and while jumping rope at the gym. But it works great for doing interval training on a bike on an indoor trainer. I suppose I could use it outdoors on bike rides and runs, but I haven't done so yet. 5 stars!
Great timer. One slight gripe, but otherwise excellent!

hese are excellent interval timers with only a few (non-fatal) flaws. If you will be resetting different intervals often, this may prove time consuming as the intervals only go up or down 10 seconds at a time. (you can also move up and down by seconds.) To move between clock, stop watch and interval timer you must press both top buttons simultaneously. This seems unnecessary, but there MAY be a reason. I just don't like using two hands to check the time.
Those are the only flaws. The vibration is strong and the beep is loud but not deafening. I like that you can set the vibration or beep to last up to 5 seconds. The timer is generally easy to use and resistant to breaking unlike most standard kitchen timers and the like.
overall, this is probably one of the best interval timers you can get and should last for years.

Great Timer which Revitalized My Workout! A Real Motivator.

I've only had this a couple of weeks but absolutely love this. I've nick named it "The Motivator" I've been walking, jogging and doing push -ups for about 5 years now. I'm 59 years old and am very routine oriented. I've read about interval training and have always wanted to do sprints and walk but have had some concern and hesitation. Although I do not have any knee problems I just didn't know if my body could handle it. Anyway a few weeks ago I decided to try it. So when at the park I had no time keeper but tried to count 15 seconds while sprinting and 1 minute rest and repeated. After this one lap of that I walked a few laps. I felt so good and invigorated. The next two day's when I went back to the park I did my usual 2 lap walk then did 2 laps of sprints and walk and a final lap of walking (3 mile total). This is fantastic but I know I needed a time keeper, so I looked here on Amazon and found this Gymboss Interval timer.
This timer comes with very good instructions to teach how to set it up and use. I absolutely love it. In the few weeks I've adjusted my sprint time from 12 to now 15 seconds keeping the one minute rest. I've also increased the amount of sprints I do in total. This timer actually is motivating me. I can't wait to get back to the park to do my exercise. It has helped to revitalize my workout routine. It's giving me goals to attain and makes my workout fun. It is very light in weight yet feels sturdy. It has a very strong clip with good grab. I clasp it onto my shorts and feel confident that it won't fall off. The audible beeping or vibrate modes (or both at the same time) work very well for the interval training. It is also a stopwatch which I use during my walking laps, and a clock. Great price for all the value it has brought to my workout. Wish I would've gotten this years ago. I highly recommend this timer to anyone looking to revitalize their workout or who just wants a sturdy multi-functional timer.

Good interval timer for sports
sunbird•March 5, 2017
Good interval timer for sports. Setting it for more than a few minutes takes some time since it goes through the numbers rather slowly. But as an interval timer it works well. The stopwatch only counts up. I would have liked it to count down as well. It would also have been nice if the clock had an alarm function.
