Use this to better park you bike with kickstand on soft shoulders or dirt. But be careful when using on slick garage floors.

I had a stationary fall over with my bike when I parked it on a soft should with a fairly steep down hill pitch. The kick stand dug in and collapsed as I had the bike parked facing downhill. I am hoping this will provide a large enough footprint to prevent this from happening again on soft shoulders/dirt.

What a GREAT product,simple,inexpensive piece of ridgid plastic that REALLY does the job!Like some,my storage area has a wood floor and I didn't want my pride and joy,a classic CBR 1000 Hurricane,(heavy bike),to weaken the floor,(most shed/garage floors are pier type floors,framed subfloor then plywood laid over the top),so didn't want the side stand to dig in the floor,so got this appx 4"x3" piece of plastic to stop that.Well worth the few $$$ for me.Works as expected.I would buy again if needed as I am that pleased with it.

You could use a little piece of anything hard and it would serve the same purpose, however, this little guy works out great. I have been using this for over a year and it has held up great and has definitely saved my bike from sinking in asphalt. I have removed this from the ground and have seen markings on the asphalt where the piece has pressed into it. The hole is a great addition as well, as you can loop a piece of string through it and never have to bend over again, while in gear, to place it or get it back up. Overall, I would purchase this product again and would highly recommend it.

I tied a bright orange woven line to it and hook it over a handle bar mount to remind me when it is there. That allows me to pull it up, wrap the line, and stick it in my pocket. In bad weather, I'll stick it into a Ziploc in my pocket to keep the mud isolated.
