This is great not only for "racing" applications but also for older, worn engines with low oil pressure issues (usually at idle, when car is warm). It definitely helped my Ford 5.0L V8 (302) engine with 200k miles to live on without a rebuild.

Replacement to the old oem recommendation on the hood sticker for the e46 M3. For those that end up looking at this for your M3, BMW runs it in their race team cars and it's a viscosity match and if anything higher grade than the original Castrol GTX recommendation. Go forwards with faith.
great product, great price

did an oil change on my e60 m5, all went as it should. i purchased 2 of these and had about a liter left over. maintenance reminder stickers on each jug is handy. car seams to be quieter and smoother on the acceleration.it could be placebo effect but feels great.

If you have an ///M series BMW. This is the only oil you should be using... A German made oil for a German made car.. these other oil companies like castrol make a deal with BMW to sell overpriced 12-15$ a quart oil in the states. Meanwhile this oil which has better performance and at a lot better price you don't hear anything about. I can successfully change the oil on my e46 m3 for about $60 bucks with Mahle filter.
It's a good, synthetic oil

It's a good, synthetic oil. Apparently the strong dollar makes this fine, German oil a bargain! I should buy more. I was using Motorex synthetic oil from Switzerland. That oil cost $75 a gallon. Switzerland doesn't use the Euro. Really, I have a Moto Guzzi 1200cc, air cooled, 32K miles. I totally recommend it. "Those Germans, they make good stuff". Yes, use it without fear.
