Started using this Shell Rotella T6 oil instead of Mobil1 when I noticed that I was losing more oil between oil changes. From the few popular Subaru forums, they seem to have a consensus that the Mobil1 is too thin and gets past the turbo seals and gets burned off as a result. Started using this and definitely have noticed less oil consumption.

I've been using this full synthetic oil for a number of years in my Ford 7.3 liter turbo-diesel. I change it every 5,000-6,000 miles and never need to add any between changes. It holds up really well, and the engine is still running great with over 300,000 miles on it.

Run it in all of my BMW (non M) cars, makes a noticeable difference in reduction of lifter tick, a common problem as they get older. Also run it in my G35 and have in my Subaru. It is a good oil at a great price.
