This is what needed and it was delivered quick before the next cold snap came. This did a great job keeping my home warm and lowered my electric bill to.

Good little unit that keeps things toasty warm and yet uses propane incredibly economically. It puts out so much heat that I've only had to put it on the high setting a couple of times all winter! Note that there is no thermostat and only 3 heat settings (low-medium-high), and there is no way to reduce the heat below the low setting - if it gets too hot, too bad! :-) Big issue: the knob that controls the ignition and the heat does *not* pull up or turn smoothly. I can ignite the pilot easily enough, but then have to keep needle-nose pliers next to the heater in order to be able to turn it on. This item was delivered promptly, but it was not well protected and it arrived in a VERY flimsy made-in-China cardboard box that had been damaged in transit... as a result, the bottom back corner of the heater had been slightly crushed, so the propane tank does not sit in there exactly as it should. Consider requesting extra packing!
