I purchased this item as a gift for my one year old daughter. It is absolutely adorable! It sings songs and has flashing lights which any little girl would love. It comes with a lipstick, makeup brush and little bracelet, all plastic. My daughter takes the bracelet on and off all day. She loves pretending doing her makeup and will rub the little brush on her face wanting to be told she's pretty:) if you have a girly girl you should definitely buy this makeup vanity toy. My daughter plays with this quite often and doesn't seem to ever get tired of it. Any young girl would absolutely love this toy!

My daughter loves this toy. She received it on Christmas, which she was around 5 1/2 mo. She enjoyed it, figured out how to roll the wheel to make it light up and play sound very fast. It didn't keep her attention very long then. Now that she's a month older she is sitting up by herself and very interested in it. She loves looking at herself in the mirrors around the house, so this was the reason I wanted to buy this so badly for her. I'm glad I did, she could smile at herself for hours. She's not able to pick up the accessories very well, but she pushes them around in their places which makes them respond with lights and sound which excites her. I'm very happy with this purchase. The mirror is very clear for being the fake reflective film. If she's laying down it's easy to prop the mirror with something underneath, it suits her better while sitting. It was clean upon receiving it and the packaging was good. It shipped to us quickly. I had been eyeing this for a long time, I was so excited when it arrived!

I got this when my daughter could sit up on her own around 6-7 months but was not not crawling yet, and she absolutely loved it. She would sit for 20 minutes at a time just playing and looking at herself in the mirror. Now that she is 8 months and crawling, she doesn't spend as much time sitting in front of it but she still loves to chew each of the individual pieces and can put the bracelet on herself. It is very cute -- kinda spendy for what it is, but very cute and I imagine she will get several more months of use out of it. Also, the phrases are very cute and appropriate. In my opinion, it doesn't hurt for little girls to hear they are a "cutie" and "adorable", before they start to get bombarded with unattainable images of female perfection by the media. If the worst thing that happens is my little girl grows up saying she is precious and adorable, I would be a happy mama! ;)

I bought this for my best friend's baby girl and she absolutely loves it! She likes having pictures taken and loved mirrors so I decided to get this for her for the holidays. My friend sends me pictures showing how much the baby plays with it. She keeps looking at herself in the mirror and smiling. I think it's a super cute gift for any baby girl to have fun! It also speaks when the baby removes the little makeup items. If I remember correctly it said shapes and colors. So the baby can act cute and learn at the same time.

We bought this for a cousin at Christmas - my baby couldn't stay away once it was open and set up, so her grandparents in turn bought it for her birthday. We are so glad they did, she is constantly crawling around holding the bush brush or the lipstick, as well as admiring herself in the mirror. The songs and lights make this a great interactive toy. The only downside is kind of the obvious one, easily tips over with a baby pulling on it, but what can you expect? It's low to the ground, so very unlikely to cause a boo boo. There is no assembly, just open the package and put the pieces in their slots and let your baby play away!
