"Beach Toys"

I bought this set for my 2 year old Granddaughter who recently had her first beach experience. When the box arrived she opened it smile and said "Beach Toys " as if she had been waiting for them. They were a big hit and I am more than satisfied.

Some of these pieces are ok but the red sand castle is on the thin side and when Da Da was helping make sand castles and went to pack the sand down, the sides split so this is no good anymore. You can press the sand in the 'hand' mold but the fingers do not release; the palm comes out ok. Shovel and rack work fine. it is hit and miss with pieces. I would probably purchase something else since the whole reason you buy beach sand toys is to make sand castles and this one cannot stand up to the usage in my sandbox. :(
the little rakes and scooper is pretty flimsy. accidentally broke one handle off the scooper ...

standard plastic molds. kind of flimsy. the little rakes and scooper is pretty flimsy. accidentally broke one handle off the scooper when trying to dig out some sand. this is really just for little kinds to kind of mess around in. if you want to have reliable tools for scooping i recommend getting a hard plastic garden scooper.
Fun for little beach goers

Our daughter really "digs" this set when we go to the beach. She's already managed to break some of the pieces, but given the price they're holding up well over multiple trips. I mean, beach toys like this are supposed to break - isn't that how kids learn to improvise? Maybe my parents were cheap...
As a side note, I was actually impressed that the pieces fit snugly within the bag and more importantly: it's not that hard to stuff them all back in after playing with them! It seems packs of toys like this have a tendency to never quite fit back in their original carrying case so you're always left carrying some orphans. I appreciate this small touch.

love the toys, not the bag

I love the fact that the toys fit perfectly back in the bag after removing. Good quality toys. Unfortunately the bag isn't the same good quality, mine ripped by the next month of use. Being that it is sand toys the plastic carrying bag should have been a better material with holes so the sand can come out. I purchased a mesh bag so that solved the issue.
