This is the plushest yoga mat out there. It's long enough for even slightly taller than average people, and my knees are ecstatic at the cushioning it provides. No more doubling up mats for cushioning.

I don't know about durability yet. I've only used this mat for a few weeks. But, I bought the 5/8" thickness and am very pleased with the comfort and protection from hard surfaces it provides my bulky but creaky older body. The only drawback I can see, thus far, is that it has yet to "relax" enough to lie completely flat on the floor.

I was hesitant to purchase this mat after reading some of the reviews, but mine arrived well packaged with no real visible flaws. OK straight to it the good this mat is soft and comfortable even on concrete and it seems to offer excellent traction regardless of the exercise you're doing, the bad ,if stored rolled up this, Mat will do what any other Mat does ,the surface is soft and seems like it would be easy to cut or gouge and 3rd ,leaving anything even as light as 5 pounds upon this, Mat will leave an imprint for days, in short, I think they sacrifice durability for comfort, which isn't necessarily a bad thing if you take care of your equipment
