The product is very nice, however, it was too small lengthwise for our 5.5 lb Kitty. We had ordered the medium pod first and it was way too big for her, so we thought the small might work better, but not to be (even if she had been her full weight of 10 lbs it would have been too big). There is a very big difference between the two sizes. We opted to go with cremation instead.

Very nice for their purpose, just make sure you are accurate when you choose a size. I ordered one for a cat thinking it would be large enough and the one I ordered was small enough for a hamster or gerbil.

My 20 year old cockatiel crossed the rainbow bridge recently. I wanted to have him cremated, but none of the local pet cemeteries that do such things returned my calls. So, I purchased this instead to bury with some plants and the seed packet it came with which is part of what I had planned to do with his ashes. He fit just fine inside, and it sealed very well. His tail feathers were a bit cramped, but that is something I expected. A smaller pod definitely would not have worked.
