Start Looking at the World through Rose Colored Glasses AKA Useful for Migraine or Light Sensitivity Sufferers.

I often get horrible migraines triggered from florescent lights in my office. Rather than constantly taking medication to null the pain, I did a little research online to see if there was a way to prevent the migraines from occurring at all. Ultimately I landed on a page for Irlen syndrome which did talk about light affecting ones performance based off light color wavelengths. However, I could not find any additional scientific literature that could back this up. Still I figured it was worth a try and, frankly, I wasn't about to drop several hundred dollars on a pair of colored lenses that might not work. My sunglasses have a slight reddish tint to them, and they helped in deciding what color to pick, so I decided to spring for these glasses so I didn't look as weird wearing my sunglasses inside.
Lo and behold, these actually do a good job tempering my migraines! Any time I sense a migraines coming on, the glasses go on and very slowly the migraine will peter out. Maybe there is something behind the color wavelength with lights, maybe not. All I can say is these work for me and for that I'm grateful. The glasses themselves are pretty sturdy plastic, though they are quite large. The frames are bulky, but you can't expect much from a $10 pair of glasses either. It does come with a nice little bag you can store the glasses in too.

I love these glasses!

I love these glasses! I wish that my optometrist would offer the red tent; alas, he does not. So, I bought these glasses to wear outside. They take some getting use to; but, once you do, you will love wearing them; and, you will love taking them off. Both are refreshing and invigorating. If you have never owned a pair of red tinted glasses, buy them. You will not be sorry.
Red glasses? Cool.

Rare color? Yeah. Are they red? Yeah. I wouldn't try driving with these on, though. However, if you do you can see the amber and the red light on a stoplight. Making the green light not visible.
Shades of green and blue disappear in the red glasses
What I would recommend is a slight modification... Which is taking black dye or red dye and making them darker so it could reduce color perception

Great for price; Watch out for traffic lights though

The lenses are not polarized and are see-through. The frames are plastic but durable. The color is cool, just what I was looking for. They are a good general size for most. One thing to look out for is that the red lens reacts with green lights, so Green Traffic Lights are practically invisible with these lenses, so be careful. Yellow and Red are obvious and present, but greens are as if the light has no power so watch out for that. Otherwise, a great, cheap pair of sunglasses.
Great rose colored lenses

I got these for buildings that have very bright fluorescent lights. The lights give me a headache. These help so much. I also use them when we take bike rides in the evenings. I don't want to wear dark glasses at dusk, but want to keep bugs out of my eyes. These are perfect for that!
