All started well, but a few months after our purchase it began to leak condensation from the bottom of the door. After contacting Igloo I was directed to the manufacturer Curtis International in Canada. This company's customer service is worse than horrendous. After my initial contact with them getting any updates came about only after appealing to Igloo corporate. I would go so far as to say that Curtis International does almost everything within their power to discourage a person from getting a replacement. Both emails and recorded messages to Curtis went unanswered.It took over six weeks from the time of my initial contact until a replacement cooler was delivered and that was only a most persistent person.

If I had it all to do over again I would never have purchased this product - period. A pox on their house.

Very disappointed. Was a little disappointed it couldn't fit on a counter under cabinets but shame on me for not measuring and assuming. What reallly has me upset is it leaks. At first I thought a bottle of wine was leaking but now I realize it's water or condensation - not sure - but there is always a puddle in the bottom of the cooler and it leaks out onto my countertop. And I agree with other comments that it seems it doesn't keep the white wine cool enough even on highest setting. Don't waste your money.
This is thermo-electric, not refrigerated.

I bought this (4-bottle) thinking that it was a refrigerated. I didn't see any mention of refrigeration or thermo-electric in the product description. However, someone answered a question about mounting it sideways by referencing a "compressor." It does NOT have a compressor. The reason I mention this is that I have not had much luck with thermo-electric units in the past. My expecience is that they don't get very cold nor seem to last very long. I would not have ordered it if I had known. That being said, I decided to keep it instead of going through the return process. Fingers crossed.

It does seem to work well so far. It doesn't get real cold, but wine should not be real cold, anyway. Thermo-electric may be fine in this case. Two things bug me: The feet glide easily on the granite counter. I would have preferred rubber feet, not plastic. The other thing is that I wish the door was reversible. It would fit better in its location if the door opened on the opposite side. I know....put it in a different place. But I really don't have room to keep it elsewhere so it is what it is. For these reasons, I take one star off....mostly for the sliding around. Every time I touch it, it moves.
Don't waste your money.

It died exactly 1 month and 1 day after I purchased it. The fan just died. Don't waste your money or time. Awful.

I called Curtis International to do a return and provided them will all the information needed for the exchange. They ignored my request for 3 weeks. I called and spoke with a supervisor who said that there was no one who could check to see if my warranty exchange was in process and that the people in that department don't have a phone or email.

To make a long story short, I had to contact someone from Igloo to mediate the return and I am just now able to send the package back. I've had this since June 3, it broke ok July 4 and I'm returning it in September. Don't waste your money (or time).

I actually purchased this for my wife and she loves the sophisticated look and ease of operation. I was a little concerned about the poor packaging reviews and being received with damage; I can honestly say that this item was packaged very snug with molded star foam and was actually a little difficult to unbox, although I prefer snug packaging with electronic items, less damage.
