My Verizon Samsung 3G Network Extender lost sync with GPS following a power outage and was just blinking red for a month or more. I have it on my computer desk and it's 20 or more feet from the closest window, and I couldn't find a long ethernet cable to take it closer to the window to restore sync. I bought this external antenna, plugged it into the Network Extender, extended the antenna cable as far as it would go from the desk and put the receiver end on top of a table lamp. Within about a half hour the Network Extender achieved sync. I moved the antenna receiver back to the Network Extender's location, and the Network Extender has maintained sync ever since (a little more than a week so far). This was a really easy solution.

Much better than the one that came with the Verizon extender. The network extender gets a satellite lock even in locations that could not be used with the OEM antenna.

Great for the price. My original Verizon antenna apparently died and my unit could not see GPS satellites. This cured my problem in minutes!
