this was a gift for my 6 year old for Christmas. He loves the bike and it is the perfect size for him. we got him the blue color. he did mention it did not say Royal "Baby" and the bell that came with it did not work. But I really don't care about the bell...it would have "accidentally" been broken eventually anyway. LOL

This Bike is AWESOME!! Great quality, and our 4 year old daughter could ride the 14" bike great without training wheels. Bummed it didn't come with a kickstand, but training wheels, as we didn't need them, wish there was an option to choose. The White is Sparkly!! We were very excited about that. Only negative is the water bottle rack is easily bent, so full water bottle can weigh it down and will touch tire. Over all we are very happy with the bike.
Such a bummer. TOO HEAVY for a little kid.

Don't get it. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because my 4-year-old daughter was over-the-moon happy about it. It was SOOOO heavy. I mean SO heavy. It would be great for a 7/8 year old, but it's too small for that age. This is the size for a 4-5 year old but is seriously too heavy for them to lift. If they fall it's going to smoosh them flat as a pancake! I'm saying this as she is riding it without the training wheels.. so maybe with the training wheels there's no need to worry about the weight since it won't be tipping over. But for learning to ride sans trainers, DON'T PURCHASE.
Also, the reviews about the brakes were all true. they are stiff and keep getting stuck against the wheel so it's hard to start the bike without first making sure that the brakes are "off".

Great bike. Good quality and delivered without any issues. Not hard to put together. It would take a pro less than 10 minutes to assemble. It took me a little longer.
The bike looks like the picture. A lot of times you don't see the real picture, but this is in fact the actual product.
I've checked around at some of the higher end bike stores to purchase a bike before shopping online. None of them were significantly better with the price they were asking for.

I bought the 18" for my 6 year old and with day one in the books, let's just say for the price you get a lot of bike. The bike so far seems to be well constructed and was very simple to assemble. My son was cruising through the neighborhood in a little over 30 minutes from the time I opened the box. The bike looks good and my son loves the way it rides. It has only been one day but so far I couldn't be happier with this purchase and will check back if anything changes, but as for now it seems more than worth the money.
