Received Portable 5 Gallon Telescopic Oil Drain Dolly with no damage, with all components and parts packed in the box. Which should be expected, right? So far so good. I should mention that I am very meticulous when it comes to assembling anything, I began the assembly process by sealing all tubing, applying Loctite to all nuts & bolts to assure nothing comes loose or leaks when I begin draining fluids from my vehicle. The one thing I had to do is trim the drain pan (funnel) of excess plastic where the pan is molded to meet the tube to the can, so the fluids drain without restriction. The other area of concern is where the funnel meets the drain tube 🤔 "why didn't the manufacturer make the funnel so it inserts into the tube rather than the tube insert into the funnel" ?? As a result I had to apply RTV (silicone sealer) to prevent a leak of fluids that I know would happen as a result of the way it was made. So, now that I have it all assembled I'll put it to the test. I don't anticipate any issues (I mean it's just a can right, it not like its mechanical). Can I give this a 5? Ahh 'No'..... a 4.5 because of the way the funnel/tube connection was made.

Easy to assemble. The casters are sturdy and they look like they will work well on my garage floor. The container doesn't seal up and isn't designed to transport to recycle center. But it has a nice handle and looks easy to pour used oil into a different container that can be used for transportation. So mine will stay in the garage - no problem. There is plenty of height in the telescoping pipes - maybe a little over 6 feet high at it's highest. For me, the more important issue is the minimum height which is about 4 feet high. I may need to cut down the lower telescoping pipe to reduce the minimum height. Then I'll have to either weld on a new nut for the wing bolts or maybe use a sheet metal screw. Not a deal breaker - easy enough modification. Can't see in the pictures, but the funnel does have a strainer to keep any drain plug from falling into the container. Overall, I'm very happy with this unit. It will work great in my garage and the price makes it a good value.
