So easy to put together
Erica Smith•May 4, 2016
So easy to put together. Clear instructions. Everything worked right away. I am a beginner but for me is has a number of programs. Good resistance. Doesn't rock back and forth. The screen is hard to see since it doesn't have a back light. My left pedal is making a little noise but I haven't really looked into why yet. The seat is really hard. You do need a cushion or seat pad if you want to use this for an extended period of time. I'm very happy it comes with the ability to plug in instead of running off batteries. I think this bike is a very good value for a home gym. 6/15/16 Shortly after using the bike the left peddle started making a clicking noise. I took the peddle off put it back on it worked for a few minutes and then started clicking again. I will be calling the customer service number tonight to see what I can do to make the sound stop. When I emailed for trouble shooting they got right back to me and suggested I call when I am with the machine. Hopefully it's an easy fix. Best customer service I have experienced over the phone in a very long time. They are sending me out a new peddle which I believe & they believe is the issue. It took all of 15 minutes. Hopefully it fixes the clicking problem.
The unit is OK, the service sucks. You have to do your own warranty work.
John Craughan•April 27, 2016
The unit is OK but the service is about as bad as I've ever seen.
I unpacked the bike and put it together and nothing happened when I put in the batteries. The book tells you little about how it works. I did some checks with a volt meter and found the batteries were not making contact across all four. I called the number in the book and a gal answered and told me I had to register the unit. I had done that on line as soon as I put the thing together and it didn't work. I told the gal that and she said it wasn't done and we had to do it again. So getting that out of the ways she asked me to check the wiring harness. She said there should be nine volts to make the console light up. My next question was how it would have nine volts when it only had four 1.5 volt batteries installed. Then she wanted to argue and finally looked it up in the book for the machine. Well that shows an adapter plug to power the thing off a plug in. I told her what I found and she wanted to check the harness next. So I did as she said and checked pins 1 and 3 and of course there was no voltage. So next she wants to order a harness and set up a technician. That would take two to ten working days after the harness was received. I received a new harness but the technician service set up an appointment of which I took off of work to be home and they cancelled the appointment at the last minute. I messed around with the batteries again and got the thing to make contact so it came on. It started working and the wife used it for a bit. About a week later the technician called again and set up a new appointment. I could not be there so my wife stayed home this time. I got no warning if the appointment was still on until a recorded phone message said the tech would arrive within an hour. I called and warned the wife. The fellow came and said there was nothing wrong with the machine since it was working now. He did put the new harness in and said the unit wasn't really meant to run on batteries and insisted the adapter came with the bike and made the wife pull the package out so he could go through it. I think she showed him the book which said the adapter was an option that was extra.
We have been using the unit now for a couple of weeks and its does what it should I am afraid that when the batteries go dead and i pull them out again that it may have the same problem again. I won't ever call them again to fix it. This is the last Nautilus product for us.

A10 bike is solid and a super value for the price!
Peter deCardi•April 21, 2016
I was surprised how solid the exercise bike was after assembly. The instructions were spot on. Make sure all the nuts and screws are evenly tightened firmly and you will have a great workout tool. The exercise programs are automatic. One bummer is the display is not backlit, but any ambient light shining on it will make the screen easily readable. I would recommend this bike to anyone who wants a home exercise bike. Great value for the price.
Perfect for the price
Starr Franklin•April 14, 2016
I love this bike I have read some reviews of people who didn't but for my needs its great. For the price you can't ask for more. A couple things.. the speakers aren't great but I don't use them anyway. Second the seat is horribly uncomfortable and I couldn't stay on to long. Simple fix we got a seat cover off amazon for about 15$ and it's fine. I use this everyday and I like the challenges and fun rides. This thing isn't terribly heavy probably about 50 lbs. Be mindful that it does arrive 100% disassembled. In this price point you can't beat it. I would recommend it.
Great buy

Really wasn't expecting to much in a exercise bike at this price, but I was pleasantly surprised. The bike took me about 15 minutes to unpack there was a major overuse of packaging tape to get through, but once unpacked it only took 25 minutes to assemble. The bike is very solid with no thin cheap plastic parts. Now it was time to try it out, the seat height and handlebars were very easy to adjust to my comfort position, plugged my I pod into the mp3 port the speakers sounded nice then I gave it a try, it was very smooth and comfortable and felt very solid. I am 6' 170 and the seat could go up three more positions from where I had it for taller people. There are lots of workout programs, and resistance levels to chose from. Definitely a nice quality exercise bike with a lot of features for this price.
