Surprised how well it works. Results contingent on base metal

I'm honestly shocked how well this worked. I had two brass skulls I wanted to silver coat for necklaces and fully expected to have to make a electroplating setup due to the crevices and details. Figured I'd try this rubbing polish first and after only one application the skull had a silver sheen with a slightly warm undertone. Two applications it was a cooler silver. Photo shows original vs coated one. I'll be interested to see how well it holds up to wear.

I decided to try it on other pieces of jewelry. Next was a solid silver pendant that had some tarnishing. One coat buffed out the tarnish and made it shiny again. Then some costume dragon earrings of unknown metal. These only dulled and darkened and no number off applications could get a shiny silver finish. Next was another cheap unknown metal dinosaur necklace with some discoloration. This one I was surprised it polished up.

I tried on a lot more jewelry of various qualities and known/unknown metals. It it's silver or something of a silver coloration, it'll take the polish better. For brass and copper colors, unless it's real metal and not a cheap imitation, it'll just darken/discolor it.
Easy to apply a new silver coating with NuShine solution

I have a tin plate which used to be coated with a silver coat and I wished to renew it. I applied the NuShine solution and it worked reasobably well, giving the plate a new coat of silver. I thought I should apply a second coat, but it seems there is not enough solution in the NuShine bottle for another coat.
How much can one really deposit on silverware

I have worked on more than 1,350 pieces of silvlerware using Nushine over & over again. I think I have added a thin coat of silver on pieces that are down to the base metal, but no more even though I have at times applied four times at a time and then turned around and down four more applications the next day on one little piece of silverware. I really like Nushine and believe that I have added a think coat of silver on spots that were totally down to base but no more no matter how many times I treat it. I still like using Nushine because I like the cleaning process which I think very good and after completing something like I described above and the silver looks sooooo pretty after the Nushine process, extra heat used and then silver polish washed and then after dry rub with the material I buy from Amazon to make it really shine. As I said I like so much about it but is there anyway or anybody who can get more of a deposit of silver. The articles I have read that clearly say unless you have some completely work down to the base metal which I assume that is copper on antique silverware silverplate between the years 1885 to 1930. I buy only those pieces that are worn in only small parts like on the back of spoons where they are worn because of resting on the table and I believe they call it on the heel. Love to hear from someone concerning this source or any other that can produce better results than just that first thin coat?
Worked well

I had some inexpensive necklaces that I really liked, but the silver plating had worn off. They were no longer presentable, but I hated to throw them away and couldn't find replacements that I liked as much. I started searching online to see if there was a way to refurbish them. I found this product. The bottle cost about the same as the two necklaces I was considering replacing, so I figured it was worth it.

I wore gloves and could see that was definitely necessary! I got a little on my thumbnail when I used the product a month ago, and it's still there.

One necklace has a lot of details and both were very worn. It took a while to get them looking good again, but I laid them on an old towel on the coffee table and scrubbed while watching TV. It wasn't too bad of a process. Yes, it turns black and you just keep rubbing until they are silver again.

I was pleased with the results of both necklaces! I wore one in family pictures, and I've worn both to work and church. I'm so happy to have restored my favorites! I have a couple of others that could use some refreshing. Because there is so much in the bottle, I've offered it to my sister as well.

I only wish it came in a smaller bottle for a lower price. Hopefully, it has a long shelf life so I can use it again for future needs.
Good enough for the job.

Ugly old fork was warn down. The silver liquid couldn't hide the scratches, but it brightened up and it made it useable again.
